Shabbat Eve in Synagogue

The Shabbat evening service starts with Psalm 29:
Thereafter, a number of 'Mishnayot' are read that deal with the laws concerning the 'Shabbat lamp': Followed by "Lekha Dodi" Another melody for "Lekha Dodi": "Lekha Dodi" in a Moroccan melody: "Lekha Dodi" in another Moroccan melody: "Lekha Dodi" in a Ugandan melody: Amar Ribbi El`azar, follow by Qaddish deRabbanan: Psalms 92 and 93 are read: This is followed by the recitation of the "Shema". The following recording includes the blessings that introduce and end the Shema on the Eve of Shabbat: After the Shema comes the actual Shabbat-Evening prayer. This is recited in silence by each person individually. Thereafter, a short summary of the Shabbat-Evening prayer is recited aloud by the Hazzan (the cantor). Qaddish Titqabbal After the Shabbat-Evening prayer, Psalm 23 (The Lord is my Shepherd) is chanted: A communal recitation of Qaddish Yehe Shelama Rabba Barekhu (only when a minyan is present)
